As you may know by now, I am a BIG fan of WordPress.org. Thanks to WordPress.org, many small businesses are now able to get an affordable website online. Many are able to get their business websites online and maintain it without hiring a web designer at all. I am proud to say that I am one of them. I taught myself WordPress.org and have used it to get all my current sites on the web.

Thanks to WordPress.org, those who do not know HTML, don’t need to know it in order to have functional and attractive websites. WordPress.org‘s visual editor looks very much like the dashboard or toolbars in Microsoft Word.

If you have started a business blog, you have already made a step in the right direction. Business blogging goes a long way to building credibility, influence, attracting ideal customers and clients and selling your products, programs and events. However, you need to make sure you have set up your business blog for success. You can quite easily sabotage your brand building efforts with simple, avoidable mistakes. You may want to establish profiles on maybe 2 more max. If you get involved with too many social media networks, it will be hard to stay active and interact with people on all of them because it can be time consuming. The more networks you get involved with, the bigger the ‘water-down’ effect.
