Thanks for your comment Donna. You are definitely on the right track. Leading with content is best. Even if it may seem that no one is reading. As your readership grows you can always cross-link to older content as it relates to points in current posts. Don’t rule out affiliate marketing via Amazon.com and a premium theme if you use one.

@Donna Glad you liked these ideas. Also important to note is to go with the methods that are fun for you and in your comfort zone. Also, think of what attracts you to join someone else’s list. Chances are that list-building method will work best for you to build your list.

I haven’t been focusing on monetizing my blog, but it’s something I plan to do in the near future. I’ve been hard and heavy at #1 – adding content on a regular basis. When I’m ready, I’ll probably start off with Google AdSense and an ebook. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.

Stephanie – You didn’t leave a single stone unturned. Thanks for sharing. In response to #9, I quickly hit the back button if the sign-up form is asking for too much required info. It’s ok if you’re given an option to add more, but I agree name and email should be enough.
