Create Expert Status in Your Industry and Attract Your Ideal Clients

1. Write articles for your blog – Ideally you should blog at least once per week, but you can blog up to 3 times a week. The more you blog and promote those posts, the more traffic you will receive. When you write valuable content on a regular basis, this shows your target audience that you are passionate and knowledgeable about what you do.

2. Send out a weekly ezine to your subscribers – Your subscribers usually are made up of people that are interested in what you do. That is, your prospective clients. You need to communicate with them on a regular basis and share your articles, business events and updates and your program or product resources. Showcase your weekly blog article in your ezine so that your subscribers can also see that you are knowledgeable about what you do.

3. Share bite-sized tips as status updates on your Facebook Fan Page. Take your salient points from the articles that you write and post them as status updates. You can provide a link to the full article in some cases and also share as a stand-alone update.

4. Create videos – Video marketing is not a passing phase. It is a proven marketing channel that gets results. Get over your camera-shyness and create videos for your target audience. Some of the kinds of videos you can create are: how-to videos, announcement videos for a teleseminar, webinar or other virtual event, answer frequently asked questions, interview current clients about their experience working with you as post as a testimonial video, tutorial videos, on-site videos of you presenting at workshops and so much more. The possibilities are endless.
